SENH and ASCE-NH Annual Joint Meeting

PRESENTATION: A Presentation from Contech on Culverts, Culvert Headwall System, and Relining of a Structurally Deficient Stone Arch

SPEAKERS: 

Steve Wolf, PE has been with Contech for 34 years and handles pipe and stormwater treatment in ME, NH and VT and is a licensed engineer in MD and NH.

Glenn Robie covers the area for Contech’s bridge group. He has been with Contech since 2019, 10 years previously with Big R Bridge, another in-house design and fabrication company. Prior to being in the bridge industry, he spent over ten years in the precast market servicing bridges, retaining walls among other products.

DESCRIPTION: 

Steve will discuss culverts, large culvert lining, and Contech's new CHS system. Glenn will talk through the reline of a structurally deficient stone arch.  The plate arch extends beyond the host structure under an adjacent parking lot. The 20’ arch included a fabricated elbow, penetrations for utilities to pass through, and openings in the foundations for stormwater to enter the channel.
